Country Christmas was originally recorded on Capitol Records and licensed to Pickwick Records for re-issue sometime in the 1970s. This vintage LP features many of the greats of mid-20th Century country music to include: Tennessee Ernie Ford, Glen Campbell, Sonny James, Ferlin Husky, Buck Owens and His Buckaroos, as well as Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Side One kicks off with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, followed by Caroling, Caroling, The Night Before Christmas, Christmas Ain't Christmas, and Christmas In My Town. On Side Two you'll hear Angels We Have Heard On High, Silent Night, Jingle Bells, Barefoot Santa Claus, and I'll Be Home For Christmas. This LP is in VG condition and includes a replacement liner/insert. The LP cover is split at the top, but could easily be repaired with Scotch tape. This record plays well and would be a great addition to your listening collection this holiday season whether you intend to play it in its original vinyl format or transfer it to CD or a file for your MP3 player or Ipod.
