Holy Bible on 16 rpm records - first edition.
This rare, collector's item is from the Audio Book Company in Benton Harbor, MI. I found it in a sale in rural Middle Tennessee from the personal belongings of a female, retired, Baptist preacher. No doubt she used it repeatedly to help guide her flock and her life. Although I didn't know this woman, she must be remarkable. Not only was she a preacher, she was also a nurse. This lady did everything she could to help her fellow man. This unusual artifact is a first edition, 1953. It's in near perfect shape. The spiral binding is fine. The vinyl 16 rpm records have 23 1/2 hours of audio. There are 25 ultra-microgroove 16 rpm phonograph records playing up to an hour each. Unfortunately, it is missing the 1st record. These records may be played on any 33 1/3 rpm record player using the Audio Book Adapter. Adapter not included, but the previous owner made adapter insets that are included (see photograph).
