Born Herman Parker on March 3, 1927 in West Memphis, Arkansas, Junior Parker was a highly respected blues vocalist and harmonica player and is probably best known as the author of Elvis Presley's 1955 classic, "Mystery Train." Parker performed with noted blues artists over his career to inclue: Sonny Boy Williamson II, Howlin' Wolf, and B.B. King.
