Lansing Fire Department 9/11 Memorial T-Shirt

On October 5, 1857 a group of citizens met in the Senate Chamber of the Michigan State Capitol to form the first volunteer fire company to serve the Lansing area. Torrent Engine Company No.1 went into service with a hand pump and horse drawn hose cart in March of 1858. In 1908 Lansing became the first city in the United States to place a motorized fire engine into service. A Webb fire pump was mounted on an Oldsmobile chassis for a total cost of $6,500. So, it's not surprising that the men and women of this historic department wanted to pay tribute to the fallen FDNY firefighters of 09/11/01. This Lansing F.D. Memorial T-Shirt is red and white and sports the Lansing Fire Department's insignia on the front. On the back of the shirt in white lettering it reads "In Memory of FDNY Last Call 09/11/01." It's a size XL. Now you can show how proud you are of this fine fire department and the men and women of the FDNY that this shirt pays tribute to. Throw this apparel item into your shopping cart today and remember to tell all your firefighter heroes that you "Do It In The Basement."
