WWI Leather Art Work
This unusual, vintage piece is handtooled leather art of a WWI soldier. It has 1917, a Doughboy, and an eagle meticulously carved into a piece of thick leather. It is stained a nice color and then hand framed. The frame shows overlapping joints and has a piece of wood on the back to make it secure. We don't know how old this is, but it's in very good condition. There are a few dings on the frame and a couple of light scuffs on the artwork. We know someone put a lot of love and work into this piece of art. It's 11" X 9". It's a one-of-a-kind homage to our military men and women past and present.
